We had a ton of rain this week. We crossed that river in the picture (from the last post) Saturday morning to go run hills on a crazy steep one. The water was so high the only thing above the water was a skinny log. We went back yesterday and the bridge was totally washed out.
With all of the rain a lot of our appointments canceled. People here in Puerto Rico don’t do anything when it rains. They just go to sleep. We walked over to Alberto and Stefani, that couple that we taught for the first time last time it rained super hard. They havent been picking up the phone for like two weeks. It turns out he had lost his phone and we set an appointment for Thursday.
Ponce 4 had a baptism on Saturday! Although he’s headed for Florida this week..
The Bishop’s wife adjusted some of our clothes this past week, so we made her some peanut butter cookies. She was pretty excited (:
It’s really fun living in this apartment with these guys. President told Elder Haycock he’s headed out of Ponce this next transfer which is going to be really sad. It’s alright though, we’ve made some good plans to kill it at BYU together.
It’s very cool to see Halley baptizing in Mexico, so happy for her :)
Love you guys,
