We set some goals as a district this week. To each baptize and reactivate in FEB, to read from PMG (Preach My Gospel)  every day in studies and to memorize D&C 4. In order to find those baptisms we’ve been focusing a lot on finding as a district, especially these next two weeks.
The other two missionaries set dates for the 15th with two of their investigators who look very promising!
We’ve been focusing more on finding again and yesterday found a super prepared 20 year old, Jonathan, and were able to teach him. We taught him right there in the sidewalk where he was sitting. He’s a very good person, with a really tough history. He was super exctided when we gave him a Book of Mormon to keep. He kept saying, “Are you actually giving this to me?”

I’ve developed more of a love for this ward this week as well. The grandma of a less active died this week. The day before the death she called the bishop and had some ward members get together in the chapel to pray for her. The comments and insights and love that was shared was just so perfect. That conversation was so guided by the spirit. We have good members here.

Bishop has also presented the idea of “standing ward councils” after every sunday service. 5 minutes where we see who didn’t come and whos going to check up on them that week. I think it’s perfect.

I put a little lizard on E Brinkerhoffs earlobe and it was hanging there like an earring. It was cool until the next day his ear and jaw really hurt him. We were nervous of an infection or something but after a few days it went away.

All fun and games until someone’s ear falls off.
