We had our zone conference this week and it went well. We and the sister trainers taught about daily and weekly planning. We had the missionaries bring their area books and we went over them with the missionaries while President was doing interviews. It was some good one on one time to talk with them and see what they can do to use their area books more effectively.
President talked a lot about obedience which I really liked, which was preceded by Sister Boucher’s part on obtaining Christlike attributes. They really do go hand in hand, as we obey, be become more like Him. They extended a mission goal to memorize “The Living Christ” before Christmas. They’re going to be visiting all of the districts and make a video of each district saying a part of the publication to send home to our families on Christmas! I think it’s a great idea. I’m looking forward to see what video the church is going to produce this year for Christmas.
Other than that it was a pretty normal week. Our Cafe Rio pork lasted us until yesterday and now we’re back to the regular chicken beans and rice. The week has been either scorching hot, or off and on rainy. Friday I swear was the hottest day in my mission.
